Dacic is put off with the American ambassador: Neither are you on the right side of history with the Kosovo case

Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic has responded to US Ambassador to Belgrade Kyle Scott, who said yesterday that Serbia is on the wrong side of history regarding the situation in Venezuela.

The “Americans are on the right side supporting Kosovo. We have been on their side in the two world wars, while they choose those against whom they fought during the two “wars, Daciqi told the Serbian daily “Novosti”.

Scott said yesterday that Serbia is on the wrong side of history when its stance on the crisis in Venezuela is at stake.

Dacic had earlier said Serbia supports any election of Venezuela's people and that Serbia is not the one to appoint who is president.

Even Serbian Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin, responding to Ambassador Scott's statement, has said Serbia has always been on the right side of history.

The Serbian people have never erred in choice. Where Serbs are, it's right and justice”, Vulini has said.

“The next time Ambassador Scott, when you want to lecture Serbia, remember that Serbia chooses its friends, that Serbia is not a colony and after the shelling of Serbia you have lost every moral right to talk about right and justice. Where you are guest, you better be modest than arrogant”, Vulin said.
