Do not try Brezovica, avalanche risk remains high

Members of the Kosovo Security Force, the cause of the bad weather, have pushed the last avalanche to this ski centre.

This avalanche is being presented as dangerous, so the center has been set to be permanently shut.

So far, six dangerous avalanches have been removed from Brezovica, five of them have slipped by themselves, while on Saturday the avalanche has been removed to the place called the Lion's “caffe and “Eagle's nest”.

Officials from the Ministry of Environment and Space Planning had also come to see the situation closely.

The Brezovica Skiing Centre has closed on 26 January, due to the risk of eventual avalanches, as well as the investigation into the death of the Diaspora deputy minister, Arian Daci.
