Albanian expected to become Turkey's Parliament Speaker

Shentop, currently deputy of the AK Party for Istanbul, born on 6 August 1968 in Turkey's western town of Tekirdag, is from a family of Albanian descent, teaches Almakos.
He is expected Sunday to compete for the top parliament, while in the first two rounds, 401 votes out of a total of 600 are needed. If the election goes to the third round, the simple majority, or 301 votes, is needed.
As Almakos conveys against the candidate are Engin Altay from the opposition Republican People's Party (CHP), while Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) has announced it will support the AK Party's candidate.
Serpil Kemalby Pekgozeg from Democratic Peoples (HDP), as well as Imam Huseyin Filiz from the IYI party.
