Kosovo Liberation Army fighter (UÇK), disabled and veteran war Isuf Gashi, has been interviewed by the Special Court on Wednesday, around 09:30 in Pristina.
Isuf Gashi known as the Big Baca is from the village of Dronoc of the Rahoveci municipality. During the last war, the Gashi family lost many family members, of whom most were members of the KLA. This is the first invitation being made by the Special, whom Isuf Gashi has voluntarily responded.
Otherwise, in 2005, by the UNMIK Court, Gashi was charged with war crimes, but had been declared innocent in a trial that lasted a few years.
Today Gashi is 72 years old, and lives as a farmer on his property in the village of Drenoc of Rahovec. He is known as one of the respected figures of patriotic families that contributed to the Liberation War.
