Serbia's president admitted this morning that he had attended Croatia's presidential candidates' debate.

He told reporters that the “retort did not give peace to”, Croatian media report.

Two of the six fundamental questions concerned Serbs or Cyrillic. I wanted to see professionally. I could tell you who I saw in the second round and who as the winner. But if I did, I would have allowed others to come near”, he said.

He says that what he heard during the debate was not encouraging. He added that in Serbia, out of 60 questions, one could be about the situation in the region and none for Croatia.
