The lifeless bodies of six people were successfully found by research teams Friday after a military team equipped with modern equipment went to the uninhabited island and realised a high-risk operation.
Police said they could not remove the bodies of two other people, but reported seeing a body not far from the island.
Dangerous volcano erupted last Monday, while tourists from various countries, including the United States, Germany, China and Britain, were at that moment on the island.
Some of them managed to escape quickly across boats, but many others were blocked by the ash and dust of the volcano, writes “Reuters”, broadcast Express Journal.
