What happens tomorrow at the Convention Constituent session?

Tomorrow the Kosovo Assembly will hold the constitutional session in which it is envisioned to be elected chairman and deputy chairman of the Kosovo Assembly.

Although there is still no final agreement between the Vetevendosje Movement and the Democratic League of Kosovo for forming the ruling coalition, it is not known whether the first party to appear in the October 6th early parliamentary elections, LVV will propose the candidate for chairman of the Parliament.

But according to renowned Kosovo analyst, if there is no agreement between LVV and LDK, then there is danger of going to extraordinary elections in the spring.

However, if LVV and LDK fail to finalise the agreement on the ruling coalition, the practice so far has shown that it is not known when the hearings with the election of the chairman and vice chairmans will be concluded.

The evental delays in the constitution's framework could not set the Constitutional Court, either by the president or any other organ, in motion.

This has been seen on two sides of the last elections, where the chief speaker was elected after the blockades in the absence of the coalition agreement, while in 2014 the Constitutional Court's interpretation was requested after six months of blockade,

Adjusting the work of the Parliament does not predict what happens if the vote for the Speaker of the Parliament proposed by the party that came first in the elections is negative.

However, the Constitutional Court has clarified that the proposal for chairman of the Parliament exclusively holds the largest parliamentary group, which falls to the Vetevendosje Movement. If it doesn't go through first, it takes consensus on the name of the other VV proposal.

Since there is no deadline for constitutionalisation of the Parliament, and except LVV has the right to the name proposal for the chief parliament, the session could be blocked.

At tomorrow's session, what is expected to happen is the oath of deputies from the new legislature. /Periscopi/
