Tirana's Prosecution begins: Use of Task and Illegal Construction

The investigation is subject to rapid action in terms of clarification of concrete circumstances, which have led to the outcome of revenue and construction conditions.

The criminal acts being investigated are those of abuse of office, predicted by Article 248 of the Penal Code, where it will be investigated for organs that have approved construction permits and if they have been granted in support of the law, and if the builders have respected the received permission.

Investigations are for illegal construction, envisioned by Article 199/a of the Penal Code, providing assistance for illegal construction, Article 199/b of the Criminal Code.

In this investigation, Tirana Judiciary Circle Prosecutorship has established an investigative group. Following the actions carried out, information is required for Tirana's municipality of residences already registered as affected by the earthquake and classified not in the right conditions for housing.
