After the six-year search, the Law Medicine Institute was announced with the warning that the minor could have been sexually abused. Soon after, IML professionals had begun checking on the young girl.

This six-year-old is the youngest victim of sexual abuse presented in Kosovo's investigative bodies, but also to the medical staff that occurred this year.

While explaining cases of sexual abuse that doctors at the Kosovo Institute of Legal Medicine treat, Curry has clarified that the case of the victim in question (six years old), was presented by her older sister. She had reported questioning that her parent was sexually abusing her younger sister.

Curri explains that the youngest age of sexual abuse that Kosovo legal doctors have treated has been a 3-year-old girl.

Bergita Curri, an expert at the Institute of Legal Medicine, also explains the traumas these abuse victims face.
