He has said that peace, reconciliation, justice cannot be built based on denial of crimes.
“I see officials from Serbia are denying one of the most serious crimes against civilians that occurred in Europe, confirmed by the war crimes tribunal in The Hague, as was Recak. Serbia's genocide policies cannot be protected. They must be denounced. Peace, reconciliation, justice cannot be built by denying crimes”, President Thaci wrote on Twitter.
Former Minister of Administration and Local Power Ivan Todosijevic has been sentenced to two years in prison after being convicted of statements he had made about Albanians and Recak's Massacre.
