According to the Council for the Protection of Freedoms and Human Rights data in the country over the past three years in Kosovo prisons have died and 15 prisoners have committed suicide, where 12 of them have died of diseases and three have committed suicide.
According to a report, between 1999 and September 2019, 67 prisoners died of disease, while 16 have committed suicide.
The deaths and murders in the Kosovo correctional system are not the only problem there.
