How prisoners and authorities reacted as cells were shaken by the earthquake

The Top Channel newspaper was now in the Shercol prison in Lezha, where it also reported how the authorities in this institution had reacted immediately after severe quakes.
The service's “Police Service Body has opened the cell doors and has moved all prisoners and detainees to air fields”, told Top Channel Gjivalin Tuci, effective at the Shercol prison.
He stressed that this is a procedure that is implemented in such cases, while also strengthening the security perimeter.
Currently, cells in the Shercol prison do not lock up to enable convicts to exit in case there is another impact of the earth.
