Meta adorns KSF members, calls them saviors

Albania's President, Ilir Meta, is standing for a visit to Kosovo. In this case, Meta has decorated the rescue search units that served after the earthquake in Albania.

President Meta has called Kosovo Security Force members saviors.

Dear Kosovo Security Force rescuers and police who appeared in the early hours of a battle between life and death, have no better appreciation than to call you saviors. I wish we had celebrated November 28th as it deserved, for our entire nation as always together, in Vlora, Tirana, Pristina and Prizren, but that's not what happened. However, even this November 28th finds us united as never before in our history to face the catastrophic consequences of the earthquake in Albania”, Meta has declared.

Meta has stressed that after the 26 November earthquake that hit Albania, Kosovo was the first to be found there.

Kosovo was the first to happen there in the struggle to save every Albanian, they were brotherhoodally and Albanianly risking their lives to save lives under the rubble. The Albanian people will be forever grateful”.

Meta has said Kosovo should be proud of the Security Forces.

Kosovo should be proud of the Security Forces as well as the police. I'm sure every place is NATO would be pleased with what you did. Whoever saves a life saves a whole world, you saved a lot, you helped a lot hurt. All our citizens express their deepest gratitude for this solidarity. You gave us all the strength. Express gratitude for all of Kosovo's people for their help. I thank all political leaders for their readiness and expression of solidarity. Kosovo has a generous heart, helped with housing, work and solidarity your never forgotten”, Meta has ended.
