KEK ready for winter season

Thus has KEK director Njazi Thaci said during a meeting with Chairman of the Economic Ode Berat Rukiqi.
In addition, the need for co-operation and promotion of the KEK Training Centre was stressed for various businesses to exploit, especially in the fields of metal industry.
KEK's chief chief also assured Rukicin that all businesses that are big consumers, which are connected to the transmission network, will have the opportunity to receive electricity from KEK.
“KEK has made all necessary preparations for the winter season to pass as best as possible. He respects all contractual agreements he has with other officers. We have enough coal reserves that give us comfort so that we can get through winter safely. And we've made every possible effort to get blocks repaired with earlier time so that in the winter season we don't have a drop in blocks like it has been so far... so we discussed many business-related issues, such as the possibility that large consumers connected to the transmission network have access to electricity from KEK. We jointly agreed to raise this issue to relevant organs involved. Also, as a point of discussion was the question of the possibility that our businesses will have access to their staff to come to the KEK training centre”, he said.
While the chairman of the Economic Ode, Berat Rukiqi, speaking of the electricity need in businesses, optimisticly said that this winter season they will not have this problem. While expressing the need for training and Certificate of the workforce at the KEK Training Centre.

This meeting, among other things, stressed the need for greater co-operation between KEK and OEK to serve businesses.
