Israel to Continue Contribution to Rebuilding Homes in Albania

Albania's Speaker of the Parliament, Gramoz Ruci, hosted Israel's Ambassador Noah Gal Gendler today, on the occasion of starting his post in Albania.

Ruci congratulated Ambassador Gendler on his mission to Albania and noted that relations between Albania and Israel are excellent and that they are based on a long history of friendship, sacrifice and mutual respect between the two peoples.

The head of the Parliament pointed to the broad prospect of co-operation between the two countries in many areas, such as agriculture, hotels, tourism, etc.

Ruci thanked Ambassador Gendler for the very valuable contribution of Israeli experts to verifying the damage to the November 26th earthquake and demanded that Israel's assistance continue for the reconstruction period.

Ambassador Noah Gal Gendler expressed gratitude for the high considerations of the people of Albania's authorities for the state and citizens of Israel and underlined that the Albanian sacrifices to the Jews will never be forgotten.

Gendler suggested that Israel will continue to contribute to the reconstruction phase of residences damaged by the quake.
