Inspections of Food and Veterina Agency inspectors have taken place on “Fatmir Uka” in Pec.
The male suspect K/Albanian has been arrested during the search by the survey unit and inspectors of the Food and Veterina Agency in an improvised facility has proven to have slaughtered three heads of cattle, in which two other heads of life had been in place. The slaughtered and living cattle have been seized, while the suspect after interviewing with the prosecutor's decision has been sent to the detention of”, the Kosovo police report said.
According to police, a few meters further another man has been arrested, as during the search by the survey unit and inspectors of the Food and Veterina Agency at his slaughter, the object has not met the conditions for slaughtering animals.
There were about 620kg of meat left behind in two slaughter containers, which, on the date of 21.12.2019, will be destroyed by the selective company under the supervision of police and AWK relevant units.
