Hoti: We deal with the VV in the next few days, no reason to fail the deal.

Democratic League of Kosovo MP Avdullah Hoti says the final agreement with Vetevendosje Movement for co-government will happen on the following day and that there is no reason to fail.

In an interview for EO, Hoti says the LDK's will is to reach an agreement with the VV, while urging the latter to refrain from the declaration.

I expect the talks to be concluded and then both leaders will be promoted in detail, I believe we've been quite transparent so far about the way the coalition agreement is developed, and I believe it's a new standard, now we're in the phase when we're negotiating the division of responsibilities. I can't say anything more than that until all cases are closed”, he says.

Two meetings took place at the level of leaders, I believe that at the third, four in a few days, these positions could be approached. So, there is nothing unnatural, negotiations are under way, negotiations are under way for three weeks in a row at six meetings of the two parties' working groups, now discussions have passed to the level of political leaders after they agreed on all programming issues and now we have to have dinner as sharing responsibilities within institutions, expectations are positive I expect this issue to be concluded as soon as we can, he says.

Hoti says both parties should be cautious in statements while seeking respect for each other, as both as opposition have worked well and that a co-operation may also be possible in government.

“are statements by certain VV officials, which I do not wish to comment on. I believe we should have respect for each other and let the two leaders at their meeting draw their positions and come to an agreement that is acceptable to both sides. What is most important is that there are two political parties, which, until yesterday, have been in opposition, we have set a good standard of co-operation as we were in the opposition, a resolution of mutual trust has been built, which now serves us in reaching agreement and all these negotiations that have been made so far, I believe have also been done on the basis of a mutual belief that we have established so far”, he says.

The important thing is that certain VV officials don't rush into any statements while we're talking about these issues. I don't believe there is reason to fail to reach the agreement, at least it won't fail on our part, we have shown will yet without certificate of the results to be approached as two political parties, I expect that in the coming days this entire agreement to be concluded”, he said.

He says he now expects the president to call the Assembly Constitution session and then negotiate with the VV.

I think there's an extraordinary interest in citizens, the media of all the others with these negotiations going on between the two partners, but I also say there's nothing extraordinary, unnatural in these talks. The elections have been certified since several days ago, the census of deputies in the Assembly has begun, I expect the president to call the first inaugural session soon and until then I believe we will approach our positions”, he says.
