Gashi: Under the VV Constitution, only the Speaker of the Parliament is granted

Gashi, at “Debat Plus” with Ermal Pandur at RTV Dukaagjini, has said Kosovo's electoral and constitutional system so far guarantees only to Vetevendosje the post of Speaker of the Assembly, not other posts.

He has said it is not easy to honour a coalition between a rightist party like LDK with a leftist party like Vetevendosje, which according to him are the second and first party.

Gashi has said the LDK in the position it is neither able to propose the candidate for president, since it takes 30 votes for that, which the LDK has only 28.

For the president to be elected, it takes 2/3 to be present in the hall that we and Vetevendosje do not have. Therefore, we want this issue to be opened, not to be named”, Arben Gashi said, among other things.
