France has thus been attached to the small group of countries that use armed fears, including the US.
France's military successfully tested its first armed attack during the weekend, during President Emmanuel Macron's visit to the neighbouring state of Côte d'Ivoire, where its military base is located, the AP broadcasts.
Defence Minister Florence Parley said the drones would protect French troops and effectively stop the enemy, as well as allow French troops to show greater flexibility.
