Fires cause $5.2 billion damage in Indonesia

The report reportedly burned between January and September in eight provinces, mainly in the Sumatra and Borneo Islands.
More than 900000 people reported respiratory diseases, 12 national airports banned operations, and hundreds of schools in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore had to be closed temporarily.
Forest fires are an annual danger in Indonesia, and smoke often affects Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand, bringing air pollution to dangerous levels. / A T S/
