11 years of independent state, but Kosovo citizens still cannot freely move to EU countries.

Many visa promises were given, but to this day, there were no positive results.

Despite these visa failures, incumbent Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has today set another date for liberalisation.

Haradinaj today said the decision on visa liberalisation for Kosovo is expected to happen only in the spring of next year, and not this year as warned.

According to him, delaying the date for liberalisation has contributed to Vetevendosje and the LDK, which are procrastinating the process of building new institutions released after the 6 October elections.

Such promises Haradinaj had made since 2017 during the pre-election campaign, where he said visa liberalisation would occur under his rule in 90 days.

“I don't see a period longer than three months from the moment of starting work in the Government for visa liberalisation with the EU”, Haradinaj had said.

He also violated his principles on which he had sought the vote in past elections, voting the demarcation with Montenegro, where he at one time said he was being wronged in Kosovo.

The demarcation vote, Haradinaj, used it as a rationale for visa liberalisation, but they did not happen.

Another visa-free statement, Haradinaj, issued on March 23rd 2018.

The visa liberalisation has taken place, pardje”, Haradinaj said convinced in his words, but neither did this prognosis of the incumbent prime minister prove to be accurate.

Another news that the visas were liberalised Haradinaj gave it as well in May this year, during a news conference following the Government's meeting, he said that in Berlin he received support from Germany for visa liberalisation.

“Seehofer waited for us in the yard and en route to the meeting he confirmed this position: he told us “po” for visas”, Haradinaj had declared.

“is not testing and thinking but the man in charge of interior minister. He said yes immediately. Kosovo congratulations on visa liberalisation”, Haradinaj had said further.

While after that statement, in June he said the prospects are very real, for the visa decision to be made in September.

“There are real possibilities, possibilities are very real that the decision will be made in September. There would be no logic that the Council of Ministers would delay this decision” had declared Haradinaj.

While in November of this year, Haradinaj has said he expects positive developments in December for liberalisation. The entry into force of the decision could be delayed a week, but not for months he had declared.

So a part of the job can happen even now in late November. We expect positive developments in December for liberalisation. The entry into force of the decision may be delayed a week, but not for months, we are seriously waiting for it to happen. We deserve to have closed all the criteria, but we also have the blame that we do not yet have visa liberalisation”, Haradinaj had declared.

Since Haradinaj has made that promise, until now when his government has fallen, Kosovo citizens have not enjoyed that promise.

Meanwhile, the opposition in Kosovo had frequently criticised Haradinaj, calling him a government of chaos, extortion of the budget, isolation of the Kosovo leadership, the failure of diplomacy and recognition of the state of Kosovo. /Lajmi.net
