The dispute: What are you really sharing with the LDK with the VV?

As of 19 July, Kosovo was left without elected government after Prime Minister Haradinaj resigned. This created a political stalemate that would not be solved by choice.

Haradinaj surrendered after being invited by the Special Court as war crimes suspect. From that moment on, the country automatically went to extraordinary parliamentary elections.

The elections were held on October 6th, 2019, and the first party the Vetevendosje Movement came out, while the second was established the Democratic League of Kosovo.

Vetevendosje had a candidate for prime minister, Albin Kurtin, while the LDK used the last ʹarmaʹ that it had to leave the opposition, Vjosa Osmanin.

Although the CEC continued its recountings until NISMA Social Democrats passed the threshold, the LDK and LVV had already only started working groups' meetings to define the coalition agreement.

Anni why these groups held six meetings with each other, eventually resulted in them as successful and that the coalition could take place daily.

After the work of the working groups ended, the ball went to LDK leader Isa Mustafa and VV's Albin Kurti, writes Periscopi.

Mustafa and Kurti began their meetings at home and sometimes in hotels to reach agreement on the ruling coalition. After the talks, Kurti told the media that after the CEC issued elections, these two parties would form the government.

Two months after the election ends, Kosovo continues to be without the new government.

The December 2nd meeting was named by the two parties as a big day, with the coalition agreement signed. But, the Democratic League of Kosovo marred the estimates at the last moment of the VV. The LDK emerged at a special request, where it put the president's post on the table. This request didn't like the VV at all, and eventually they came out of the meeting without a deal.

They said they had been surprised by this request, even though Periscope had reported such a thing since July.

A week passed after the last meeting, and the VV did not become a living “”, and on the other hand, the LDK was very attentive and ready for the upcoming VV invitation.

Albin Kurti, after returning from Berlin, again called Mustafa at a meeting to continue discussions that had been put in half.

The meeting that lasted several hours again proved unsuccessful. This time, the VV was only about to cool off, and the LDK did not give up its request.

On the other hand, no empty statements were missing. We met to agree to meet.

And during yesterday's day, the VV had gathered its chairmanship to discuss talks they had held with the LDK, trying to create the idea that someone else decided on this party, other than its leader. The latter had to resign under the Vetevendosje statute as the party's first as soon as he became prime minister, but... changed the statute to hold both positions.

After the meeting, MEP Albulen Haxhiu, who clearly said the LDK should give up the barricades (requisite for the presidential post) and should withdraw from statements where LDK officials voiced agreement that the agreement will be reached.

On the other hand, the LDK did the same with its leadership. After the meeting, Kosovo Parliament's new deputy Bessian Mustafa spoke to the media spokesman for the media and others.

Mustafa, repeatedly hinted that the LDK requires VV understanding and trust. However, he did not comment at all on Haxhiu's statement, demanding that the barricades be removed.

Next, Kurti and Mustafa accompanied by party officials met in the Kosovo Parliament environments to continue talks on reaching the coalition. They were airtightly closed even to the media.

After three hours of waiting, Glauk Konjufca and Avdullah Hoti appeared before reporters to say the agreement has not yet been reached, while Hoti said the now famous statement We agreed to meet”.
