The dispute over an accident, cause of police shooting

A citizen was killed by a Kosovo Police member due to a disagreement following a traffic accident.

The victim was killed in front of his 20 - year - old son, who was accompanying him to moments of tragic events.

The initialist V.H. member of the Kosovo Police for Close Protection is suspected after a dispute over an accident has fired a shooting at the victim, L.S., which as a result of the wounds suffered has changed lives at the scene.

“As part of the IPK investigative procedure has confiscated a GLOCK 9<19 weapon allegedly used by the suspect in this case and a charger. Two Beretta-type guns have been found and confiscated in the suspect's vehicle. IPK investigators in co-operation with the regional investigation unit have also implemented a warrant for raids in the village of Malisheve of Gjilan at the home and escort facilities of the suspect”, the IPK has announced.

The Constitutional Prosecutor in Gjilan said that after the actions taken, at the order of the alleged police prosecutor has been detained in the course of 48 hours, under suspicion of criminal activity “fallen murder” and against him within the legal deadline the measure of detention will be required by the competent court in Gjilan.
