Analyst: Kosovo at risk of new elections

The Vetevendosje movement and the Democratic League have entered the time limits so that as soon as they reach the co-government agreement after the 6 October elections.

Although there are about a week to the constitutional hearing, the differences between the two parties are clear about the president's issue. This is risking the country towards new elections.

At least that's what connoisseurs of the Constitution and political analysts think.

The LDK, which is negotiating the establishment of the government, is insisting on “balancing” of power, but on the other hand, express their will to reach the VV agreement as soon as possible.

LDK chairmanship member Avdullah Hoti does not indicate there will be any meeting during the day, while he says that by December 26th they will work to reach this agreement.

University professor Mazbul Baraliu tells Kosovo Press that the only option of the two winning elections parties in October 6th is to form the government.

In addition, Baraliu gives details about the time period when new elections can be held.

The only possible option is for these two parties to find solutions these days until the 26th, where the new legislature's constitutional hearing is held.
