As a concrete and effective support, the Society's General Assembly has decided to donate 200,000 euros, depositing such a sum in the Albanian government's special open and managed account.
This sum is separate from all other contributions made by individual members of the Society based on their rules and policies.
Moreover, the Society has accepted the strong will of its members to implement a number of measures, based on occasion, with the aim of supporting all borrowers who have been affected by the earthquake. To that end, the Society encourages all interested parties to contact their Bank to receive information and instructions. At the same time, the Association will work with relevant institutions and regulators to ensure that beneficiaries of the measures mentioned will not be subject to any change in their credit write-off performance rating.
The association says that since the start of emergency, all banks have given up the tariffs and commissions applied for financial transaction (national and international) for the transfer of funds in favour of earthquake victims.
