The number of people affected by the flu in Kosovo is increasing. Health institutions are appealing to citizens to take appropriate measures to protect themselves from seasonal flu, including vaccines.
About 13 thousand citizens have been affected by seasonal flu for less than three months. From the country's National Institute of Public Health have told “Zerin” that from October 1st this year until December 15th, 12 thousand and 331 suspected cases of flu have been reported, as well as over 2 thousand cases with acute respiratory infections.
Also reported are cases of severe respiratory infections.
“From October 1st 2019 to December 15th 2019 at the National Institute of Public Health has reported a total of 12 thousand and 331 suspicious cases in the flu (ILI), 2,040 cases with ARI (Ack Respiratory Revolution), and 11 cases of SARI (Accus Respiratory Development).
During the 50th week (09.12,2019 é 15.12.2019) were reported a thousand and 427 cases of ILI, 254 ARI cases and 2 cases SARI”, the Office for Information on this Institute said.
