More than 9,500 flu cases in Kosovo have been marked by October

A total of 9545 suspected flu cases were reported between October 1st and December 4th at the National Institute of Public Health, 1504 cases of acute respiratory infections and 9 cases of severe acute respiratory infection (SARI).
The cases are reported by all municipalities in the Republic of Kosovo except municipalities with Serb populations.
The largest number of cases are reported by the municipality of Pristina, Prizren and Podujevo, but does not exceed the epidemic threshold.
A total of 25 suspicious flu samples have been tested since the high - range period at the National Public Health Institute.
The first two cases of type A flu have been isolated at the National Grip Centre on Wednesday.
In the Infectious Clinic- SHSKUK has two positive cases of flu A in stable health, one of which also has other associated diseases with pulmonum undercover, H. TA, ICV, Hipporplazio prostate, resunciency.
The National Institute has appealed all regional directors of public health to raise the level of vigilance and reporting suspicious cases in all public and private health institutions in Kosovo.
