The new Kosovo Assembly legislature, which is expected to be dedicated on December 26th, will have 49 new deputies, who for the first time have won this mandate and 71 others who have been part of past legislatures.
Of the 120 deputies elected to the seventh legislature 38 will be women, writes the newspaper “Voice”. The seventh legislature's constitutional hearing will be held on December 26th, which is expected to head the oldest MP, Jahja Coca (71-year-old), and the youngest parliamentary Fjolla Wolfani (22-year-old), both of these deputies from the Vetevendosje Movement.
Part of the new legislature will be 71 former deputies, who have been part of the Kosovo Assembly in any of the old compositions. But despite that, the October 6th elections have brought many surprises regarding the new composition of the Parliament.
In addition to having many MPs who have held more than one mandate, representatives of the people have yet to be elected as part of the legislature. Therefore 49 new faces will be part of the seventh legislature.
