Kosovo could start 2020 without the budget approved for this year. The non-compliance of the Parliament after the 6 October elections has caused the 2020 Budget Bill to not proceed to the Assembly. Based on current circumstances, the prosecution of this most distant law could take place in February of next year, the Voice newspaper writes today.
Although the deadline for sending the 2020 Budget Bill to Parliament was on October 31st this year, it has not been sent to this institution even in December. Despite the drafting of this law by the Ministry of Finance being carried out all necessary preparations, the problem has been caused due to the non-compliance of the Assembly. Officials from the Ministry of Finance have told “Voice” that the 2020 budget has been finalised.
