Speaks the educator being accused by parents and students: I don't use violence, I'm not difficult but principal.

The school's parent council “Emin Duraku” in Pristina, since the morning, has gathered to prevent educator Aferdita Misim from entering. They are claiming to be abusing their children and the same threat to life. Zijavere Krasniqi, chairman of the school's board of directors, says that today they have gathered in the sign [...]

Zijavere Krasniqi, head of the school's board of directors, says that today they have gathered in a sign of dissatisfaction with the DKA and the courts.

“Today, we have gathered a part of our parents as a sign of disappointment with the DKA, even for the court that is not making the right decision, a decision to suspend history's education. We still haven't got an answer from the DKA, we're expecting it to be made right on track. At the same time, I call on the court to take seriously this issue that it is not easy”, she said.

Krasniqi says they will not leave the school yard and that they will not allow the history educator's entry until the decision is made.

As she says, this educator should be at school by eight o'clock, but the same one hasn't come. Even after Friday when Kosovo Preress had reported on the case, Krasniqi indicated there have been threats on her part.

The principal of this school, Agron Mejuani, claims it's not the first time they've been facing this.

According to him, the school staff are facing threats and pressures.

“We are almost constantly under such pressure, under such threats, but at the very worst, students are subject to psychic pressure inside the school”, Mejuani says.

This educator had come from the school “Peter Bogdani”, two years earlier, and the same was suspended in late August 2018. But it has returned in September this year with the court's ruling.

This decision, according to Director Mejuani, says it doesn't matter.

With the greatest regret I don't have that decision, but it's one issue that unfortunately our courts haven't taken into account the interest of children, the interest of the school or, namely, educational institutions, but have acted in the individual's interest, that's the worst”, he adds.

Mejuani indicates that she has had constant problems with her all along.

The “has always continued to threaten in various forms. I believe that as a school, we're under pressure from an individual. We're not against Venus, no one's against an educator, but I believe that anyone we've chosen a course, or a profession, should be adequate for teaching”, Mejuani claims.

History educator Venus Misim, who came to school in the afternoon, denies that she used violence against her children.

She tells of Kosova Prees that this school has returned with the court's decision.

I'm not the one who used violence against them. . I've won the second degree of Labour Inspection, I've won in co-operation with the Education Inspection where evidence has been found... the other I've won with court”, Misim says.

Among other things, she says that she has never threatened her children until she adds that despite the fact that the Parents ' Council opposes her, she will continue going to school.

“I am a teacher not hard but principally... But I'm going to continue that my kids are back”, Misim says.

Otherwise, Kosova Prees had announced that students because of the violence exercised against them had also organised the signing of a petition for her dismissal, but the same had threatened them after he understood it.

Kosova Prees has tried to contact the director for Education in Pristina municipality Hope Shala, but contact with him has been impossible. The Directorate for Education of Pristina has not reacted until afternoon hours.
