In September, prices of vegetables, water, and electricity rose

Monthly inflation measured by the harmonised consumer price index remains unchanged 0% in the month of October 2019, compared to September 2019, according to the Kosovo Statistics Agency Consumer Awards Index (ASK).
Despite the failure to change in October 2018 of the harmonised consumer price index, compared to September 2019, some changes in the prices of articles and services to groups and subgroups of COICOP are noted.
The rising prices are seen in these subgroups: vegetables (0.6%); water, nonalcohol drinks, liquids from trees and vegetables (0.7%); electricity, gas and other fuel (0.8%) - building wood prices for heating; purchase of vehicles (2.3%), with a combined impact of these subgroups 0.3 percent in IHCH.
The upgrade was neutralised, mainly by the fall of prices in COICOP subgroups: milk, cheese and eggs (-1.1%); tree (-7.4%); transport services (-2.4%) ) . (remaining air transport prices), with a common impact of these subgroups (-0.3 percent) on IHCK.
The annual inflation rate measured in October 2019 by October 2018 was 2.2%. This is mainly explained with the rise of consumer prices in this period in COICOP subgroups: bread and cereal (11.8%); meat (2.0%); milk, cheese and eggs (1.6%); oil and fat (3.1%), etc.
The upgrade was largely neutralised by the drop in consumer prices in COICOP subgroups: vegetables (-4.5%); use of personal transport equipment (-1.4%)-Training the price of oil and gasoline; transportation (-3.3%)-of-air transport prices; audio-visual, information processing (-3.1%), with a joint impact of these subgroups (-03%) in IHCK.
