Presidency: Thaci will request visa liberalisation tonight.

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci will attend tonight's dinner tabled by Republic of France President Emmanuel Macron, at the beginning of the Peace Forum in Paris.

As it becomes known in a press release from the presidency before dinner, the president will have a meeting with President Macro, with which he will discuss Kosovo's European perspective, with particular emphasis on the need for an immediate and merit decision to liberalise visas for Kosovo citizens.

President Thaci will speak to a separate panel tomorrow for the successes and challenges of building lasting peace in Kosovo”, the communique says.

The Paris Peace Forum has been held for the first time last year on the 100th anniversary of the ceasefire that brought the end of World War I and aims to bring together leaders of states, major international organisations and other institutions to co-operate in achieving and strengthening world peace.
