Police official arrested for smuggling goods

In the hours of last evening, Kosovo Police Inspectorate investigators had accepted information from Kosovo Police concerning a case smuggling goods into the village of Novoselle in Kamenica.

Two suspects, of whom one police official, have been arrested on suspicion that the same have committed criminal work smuggling goods.

Initial suspicions are that the same with a vehicle-forgon via illegal routes from Serbia to the Republic of Kosovo have smuggled goods.

After the checks on the van, they found things the suspects didn't own.

IPK investigators who have appeared at the scene have also contacted the custody prosecutor with whose decision the arrested suspects were assigned the detention measure for 48 hours. /Periscopi/
