Thousands of U.S. phone users have been terrorised after Wednesday evening received Valentine's Day messages.
These messages were launched on February 14, last year, but that their phones reached eight months later but that the date for sending messages corresponded to that of Wednesday.
This affected Apple and Android users.
Thousands of T-Mobile phone customers, ATT &T, Sprent and Versusion have presented their concerns through the twitter.
Some complained of annoying messages coming from their former partners, while others were shocked to receive messages from a relative or friend who had changed his life.
“As soon as I received a message from my best friend's phone number, the only question is that she's been dead since February”, a client on Twitter complained.
I got a message last night at 3am from my father writing” I love you and support you “but he (father) said he can't remember ever writing anything like that”, another client said.
Several other users said they received messages that were sent in more than two years ago.
In a statement on its website, the Synivers Company apologized to 168,114 clients who were affected by this mistake, making sure the issue was resolved, the periscopi conveys.
“While the issue has been resolved, we are in the process of reviewing our internal procedures to ensure that this is no longer happening, and to work actively with our teams so that our clients can answer all the questions they have “, said William Hurley, the company's spokesman.
