The case “The people's eyes” may end this year

Few were familiar with the “People's Eye” organisation.

That name appeared in public as Murat Yasar was arrested, the day he committed an assassination against lawyer Azem Vlasi.

And after his arrest, several more people appeared in the square, for whom the Special Prosecutor says there is evidence of how they belong to this organization.

It's a member of the Vetevendosje Movement, Sadri Ramabaya, Ragip Salova, Avni Llumnica, Sabit Berisha, Bexhet Luzha, Halim Halimi, Bajrush Konjusa, Lirim Luzja and Rexhep Toplana.

The Special Prosecutor has also filed charges against them, charging them with grave criminal acts to prepare terrorist acts and against the constitutional order of Kosovo.

According to the indictment, this organisation even planned assassinations against heads of state, had even drafted a list involving Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, LDK leader Isa Mustafa, the head of the EU. Kadri Wessel, head of AKR Behgjet Pacolli, and many other familiar figures in Kosovo.

The trial in this case has already begun.

Now, though, this judgment seems to be coming to an end.

Case prosecutor Sylla Hoxha says it is likely that this case will be carried out even within this year.

We have the correct dates by 12 December and 13 December. There are two separate sessions. There is no end, but at least any session should be left. It's likely this year it's over why not. Depends on the Court how many hearings can be defined”, Syla Hoxha said.

Defense attorneys are also notified of the hearings.

But, Sadri Radisa's lawyer, Ramiz Krasniqi, says this entire court process is mounted and that this will be testified at the end.

There wasn't any, absolutely there was. I can even talk about Sadri Ramabaya, who with no single evidence can prove that he has anything to do with this criminal case, he is the victim of his profession, is the victim of the academic title, he is the victim of why he belongs to LVV) and the victim of previous cracks that occurred in LKP”, says Ramiz Krasniqi, a lawyer of Sadri Ramabaja.

In this case, Azem Vallas himself witnessed, who was wounded by Murat Jashar in 2017.

Now his legal representative, says his client had given the accused an opportunity.

My “Pala has made an offer from the beginning of this process to the specifically accused Murat Jasharar that if it shows who has been forced to execute Azem Vlads, then Azem Vlas will not join the prosecution, and will also withdraw the indictment he has made to compensate for the damage to the Eye of the People. I think the evidence itself is Murat Yasar after trying to execute at the door of his apartment. Then there was found the gun he carried out by”, said Nasuf Hasani, Azem Vlas's lawyer.

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and former Parliament Speaker Kadri Veselin has also testified in this trial.

There have even been great tensions between witnesses and some accused in this case.
