MPJ wakes up: Ghana has not recognised us, has ambassadors in Pristina

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reacted to Serbian state claims that the Republic of Ghana has drawn recognition of the state of Kosovo.

In a response to Gazeta Express, acting Foreign Affairs Minister Jethlir Zyberaj's adviser, has said this is false news and part of Serbian propaganda.

Pacolli's adviser has said Ghana has accredited ambassador to Kosovo.

“Gana has an accredited ambassador to Kosovo. Ghana has an honorary consul in Kosovo, which represents them. Minister Pacolli recently met with Ghana's UN Foreign Affairs Minister in New York<18x1>, he added.

On the other hand, Serbia's Foreign Minister, Ivica Dacic, is claiming to have achieved another success in attracting recognition to Kosovo.

According to his claims, Ghana is the 16th state that has drawn recognition of Kosovo's independence.

We remember that Dacic had declared that by the end of this year three countries will withdraw recognition of Kosovo's independence.
