In a written response to the Express, the second party chief in Kosovo has said he is awaiting the Certificate of elections to link the coalition with the winning party.
“... only after the certificate is clarified as to who has the mandate right. We are working with VVA to harmonise the governing programme for a possible” coalition, Mustafa says.
Two days ago the LDK leader left the possibility of transitioning to the opposition if they agree with Vetevendosje for the governing programme and state positions.
But, now Mustafa says everything is explained when the election process ends in the CEC as well.
Until each day the vote is counted and recounted and the range of votes from outside Kosovo stops even a month after the election ends, of course, how the coalition's opportunity” is envisioned, Mustafa stressed.
The Vetevendosje and LDK movement have started meetings to harmonise governing programmes, despite elections not certified. They've agreed on the Government with the 26 deputy minister. But they still haven't talked about the positions and division of ministries.
Isa Mustafa says everything is explained when the winner and the deputies of the VII legislature are known.
“Should, all of us, have it clear that the coalition agreement cannot be without the certificate of results. Because only then is it officially known which of the parties or coalitions as MPs there are and who are MPs”, Mustafa told Express on Sunday.
It has been reported that the LDK is aiming to take over the Speaker of Parliament, the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Economic Development.
The Democratic League of Kosovo since 2004 has never won the elections. It's always been second.
Before the elections, the LDK and VV had made unwritten agreements about who comes out first to lead with Government. This commitment has been observed even after the elections.
Despite this, LDK Deputy Chairman Lutfi Haziri has issued statements that the new prime minister is passing through his party's offices.
Today, in the FBR, it has even written that it could go to new elections.
In October 6th elections, VV has come first with about 25 per cent of the vote made with LDK and third PDK. The fourth party has emerged AAKA. Whether Limaj's NISMA has passed the election threshold or not is yet known.
