Gjilan solidifies with families affected by earthquake in Albania

The Municipal Assembly of Gjilan has expressed pain in Albania's earthquake victims and at the same time solidification with families affected by this severe natural disaster, while calling on the executive to help the affected areas within the existing opportunity.

Meanwhile, different citizens and associations have been encouraged to be organized to help individuals and families affected by earth's powerful swings.

“On behalf of municipal institutions expresses our pain for the hit families and solidifies us to share the pain with them in these difficult times that they are going through, following natural disaster”, said the Kurteshi-Emini Secret, head of the Municipal Parliament, which today held a regular session for November.

Otherwise, at least 16 people have lost their lives, and hundreds of others have been injured as a result of powerful earthquakes that have hit Albania today.

The Kosovo government has decided to allocate 500 thousand euros in aid to earthquake-affected ones.

In support of their counterparts in Albania, Kosovo Police and the KSF have also come up, while aid in food and clothing has also been collected for affected by the most powerful earthquake in the last 30 years.
