Well-known doctor, prof. Dr. Fritz von Weissacker was killed while holding a liver lesson in Berlin.
The 59-year-old is the son of the late German president, Richard von Weissacker.
Police say they have arrested a 57-year-old for the serious event. He was not a well - known person for the forces of order.
The aggressor was attending the lecture in the first row in the psychiatry department. All of a sudden, he pulled out a knife and attacked the noted doctor.
Even one person who intervened was injured.
The event has shocked Germany, much more when the motive of this barbarian crime is unknown.
