Flooding in France, Reported for Death

Two people were found dead Sunday after massive flooding that swept southeastern France from Friday. A victim was found near the town of Muy, which lies between the towns of Nice and Marseille, police reported. Officials did not tell whether the body found belongs to a person who was reported missing earlier after falling from a rescue team boat in late Saturday hours.
Another person's lifeless body was found in a car in Cabasse, a village near where the other victim was found. In an earlier statement, local authorities had announced that a 77-year-old man disappeared from Saturday morning.
Some rivers have come out of their bed in southeastern France, causing material damage after home invasion. The water took some cars with it.
Rainfall continued in the region as well Sunday, but with lower intensity. Consequently, French meteorologists announced that the floods are expected to be reduced later in the day.
Interior Minister Christophe Castaner is expected to go to areas affected by the floods and meet with local residents and emergency situations workers, writes “Reuters”.
