The most energetic event in the universe that surprised scientists

A brief but extremely powerful explosion of a remote galaxy has broken the record with regard to the brighter light ever seen from Earth. The explosion occurred seven billion light years away and created in a few seconds more than the sun would need in his 10 billion-year life. [...]
The explosion occurred seven billion light years away and created in a few seconds more than the sun would need in his 10 billion-year life.
The discovery, led by researchers from Curt University in Western Australia, involved more than 300 scientists worldwide.
“The gamma ray blasts are the most energetic events in the universe, the most massive since the Big Bang”, says research co-author Dr Gemma Anderson.
They can be discovered only when directed directly to Earth and can last from several milliseconds to several hours.
The blast was called “GRB 190114 C” and within 22 seconds, its coordinates were sent to astronomers throughout the globe.
Astronomers, with telescopes THE MAGIC, located in the Canary Islands, was the first to observe the explosion.
