Duda Balje resigns VAKAT

Duda Balje has resigned from all positions he has held in the Democratic Party of Bosniaks-A coalition V AKAT. That decision, she says, has been taken after long-term harmony within the party has been broken and aggression inside had culminated in the 6 October election campaign. My decision is [...]

My “decision is personal, but also moral, as a response that I do not want to legitimise certain activities that concern the party's work (DSB), as well as political movements and interests, made by a narrow circle primarily for purpose and personal ambition, taking into account the community and possible consequences of”, Balje said.

The mud, which has won enough votes to become an MP even in the next legislature, says its resignation by the VAKAT is irreversible, meanwhile, has listed a series of criticisms against party members.

She says this resignation comes after the attacks orchestrated against her, spreading lies about her work, as well as creating unnecessary competition within the party. She says some people have even tried to present as the party's <x0->armic”.

She says this has been one of the biggest shocks she has received, after all the work she has done for the party and for the Bosniak community.

In addition, Balje has said there has been also the marginalisation of older party members and experienced ones, and points out there has also been a lack of transparency in decision making and spending of finance.

Duda Balje says exploiting the party for personal gain and close personal interests is a very dangerous thing for the Bosniak community.

Political commitment has shown it will continue as part of the 6+ parliamentary group, through which it says it will continue to fight for the interests of Bosniaks and the next legislature.

My priority will be as before, the priorities of the Bosnian community”, Balje said.
