Union chairmanship member Zenun Krasniqi, from this congress, expects Kosovo's products to add as much to the German market and have more co-operation agreements.

“has been a very large turnout, there have been approximately 600 participants, of them one part have been producers of Kosovo, while others have been members of the Union of Business. We are very pleased with the prosperity of the meeting, the way of communication, the producers and the successes that Kosovo producers, who have introduced their products, they too are satisfied”, he said.

He says their main goal is to put Kosovo products more into the German market.

We expect agreement, we expect which of the products of Kosovo as much as we can get into the German market and we as consumers, members of the Union of Business to be consumers of Kosovo products”, he said.

Some 600 powerful Albanian and German firms participated in the second Economic Congress of the Albanian-German Business Union, which is being held in Frankfurt, Germany.

Within the framework of this economic forum, a fair was held in order to provide space for Kosovo producers for the European and German market. In addition to the fair at the Frankfurt Congress, B2B meetings with different producers were held in order to open the doors to firms from Kosovo.

Meanwhile, Vulzanim Kelmendi of the Albanian-German Business Union calls on the new Kosovo government not to prevent business in diaspora from investing in Kosovo.

From the second economic congress of the Union of Business held in Frankfurt, Germany, Kelmendi has said that through this event, it aims to pave the way for exports from Kosovo to Germany.

In an interview for Kosovo Preress, Kelmendi has said that Congress in Frankfurt is one of the biggest organisations the diaspora has made in the profile of various businesses in Germany.

There today were over 100 producers from Kosovo, and about 450 members of the Union of Business in Germany.

“We expect this congress, which has been one of the pillars of organisation, we expect that today through this congress Kosovo producers to open the doors even more to export Kosovo products to Germany's market, though not even in Europe”, Kelmendi said.

Kelmendi, who represents the “Kelmendi GmbH” company, said they appreciate today's congress and calls on the new Kosovo government not to undermine diaspora investments in Kosovo.

“We extend an invitation and we pray a lot to the incoming government, that if it cannot help us, it may not prevent us from coming and with this will that we all have to invest in our country, our Kosovo, which we love very much, not just us as Kelmendi company, that we have already made investments in Kosovo, but all members who have seen Kosovo to date as blockades, see that Kosovo has opened its doors and invest in our Kosovo<1>, he said.
