The Constitutional Court in Pec on Thursday has declared a conviction court against those accused of murder in Decan, Bekim Raja, Avni Sinanaj, Murat Sinanaj and John Pnish.
According to the trial pronounced by the court's chairman, Judge Sami Shardaku, accused Murat Sinanaj has been sentenced to 19 years in prison, accused Bekim Raja for 15 years in prison, accused Avni Sinanaj of nine years in prison, and accused John Ponishi of six years in prison.
Judge Shardaku announced that the accused will be continued with the detention measure, reports “The Justice Vow”.
And the damaged party was instructed in civil disputes.
In contrast, according to the indictment filed on July 26th, 2018 by the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pec, defendants Avni Sinanaj, Murat Sinanaj and Bekim Raja are charged that in May 2012 in Switzerland, defendant Bekim Raja for the purpose of postscriptulous revenge has ordered defendant John Pnisch, who is the last with defendant Avni and Murat Sina, to carry out the murder of victim Ferdinand Djind by promising and awarding a thousand Swiss francs.
The indictment's device describes defendants John Pony, Avni, and Murat Sinanaj on June 23rd 2014, acting on the preliminary agreement between them in a subtle manner and with the aim of gaining wealth for themselves, deceive the victim by luring him with narcotic substances, the way the victim takes off with his car “Passat” from Gjakova in the direction of Decane, followed by defendant John Pesh, to go and get a quantity of narcotics, as promised by Avni as the defendant.
Furthermore, according to the indictment, defendant John Ponysy, acting on suggestions by defendants Avni Sinanaj to cross the villages of Hereq, Gramachel, Dubrav, Glodjan, and then reach the bridge that connects the villages of Luc and Backbar, defendant Murat Sinanaj by being prepared, detained, and passing casualties on the bridge, defendant Murat Sinja fired with automatic weapons to the victim, causing deadly injuries.
Initially, he was accused of being convicted by John Ponyschi, who had been convicted of this murder and had been sentenced to 18 years in prison by the Péja Foundation Court in June 2016.
But after that sentence, he has agreed to co-operate with the prosecution in connection with Ferdinand Djind's murder, for which the Court of Appeals had turned the case into retrial in February 2017.
