V coalition achievement reductions V-LDK

For the fifth time today, working groups of the Democratic League of Kosovo and the Vetevendosje Movement will meet, within the framework of efforts to reach agreement on the ruling coalition.

Officials of relevant parties have stated that, for most issues, agreement has been reached, and that 2-3 issues are remaining which they are expected to harmonise at the next meetings.

But including LDK deputy chairman Lutfi Haziri has never been the preference of the Vetevendosje Movement.

However, in an effort to save him from public record, LVV has acknowledged Haziri's involvement in negotiations as well.

But it is exactly this LDK deputy chairman, who with his statement, has questioned the possibility of achieving the coalition.

Haziri at a Facebook post on Sunday evening said the prime minister's name passes through the LDK offices, turning the prime minister's issue to the table -- an issue which, according to the two parties' public statements, was done.

That statement prompted numerous reactions by Vetevendosje Movement officials.

VV deputy head Besnik Bislimi has declared last night for Periscope that Haziri “has no important role, and does not bring weight to the talks being held with LDK”.

Analyst Arben Ahmeti has been pessimistic about reaching a co-government LV agreement V-LDK.

Ahmeti says that despite the desire both parties' electorate, LVV and LDK have deep differences.

“against the VV and LDK electorate wishes are two completely different subjects. Even the opposite. All processes in which the LDK has been pro, the VV has been against. All processes in which the LDK has been pro, the VV has been against. And vice versa. The fundamentals of VV's existence are the causes against which the LDK” stands, Ahmeti has declared.

The recogniser of political issues in the country has accused both parties of lying even at the time when the pre-election coalition between them was being discussed.

“These two parties have lied to us when before the elections they said everything was agreed on except for the prime minister's post. Then it turns out they were far away from a coalition. The same, far away are now”, Ahmeti stressed.

Ahmeti thinks the Vetevendosje Movement should understand that it has won the right to do so, but that it does so through the LDK.

We remember days ago, even LDK leader Isa Mustafa has cited as an option the LDK's going into opposition.

Mustafa, has said that if his party fails to reach agreement on co-governance with Vetevendosje Movement, then it goes into opposition.

The fact that we are conducting negotiations shows that the work is not done, but when negotiations are held then you can't declare it done because people can say all kinds of things. There may be winners here, or the two sides will be winners, or we won't have a” deal, Mustafa said. /Periscopi/
