The latest Kosovo Assembly legislature had six chiefs of parliamentary groups (of Albanian parties).
They were: Avdullah Hoti (LDK), Glauk Konjufca (VV), Memli Krasniqi (PDK), Ahmeti Isufi (AAK), Bilall Sheriff (NISMA) and Dardan Sejdiu (PSD).
The same ones have been run by the respective parties for the post of Kosovo Assembly MP.
Of the most popular in the past legislature has been Ahmeti Isfufi of the AAK, but according to results published by the media recently he has not secured votes to become deputy again.
The vote has not provided Bilall the Sheriff as chairman of NISMA's Social Democrat parliamentary group as well.
Even if NISMA passes the threshold, the Sheriff will not be part of the Assembly.
Dardan Sejdiu, chairman of the Social Democrat Party parliamentary group, has also remained outside the country. But not only he, but outside Parliament has remained his whole party, as no MP has managed to become an MP.
While votes to become an MP have assured former leaders of other party parliamentary groups: Avdullah Hoti of LDK, Glauk Konjufca of VV and Memli Krasniqi PDK.
It remains to be seen whether the latter will be elected by their parties again to exercise the position of chief of MPs.
