The defence ministry has taken over organisation and channeling at the proper destination of the aid provided by citizens and businesses in Albania, Kosovo and abroad, but also by international partners following numerous charges of abuse of their division.

Defence Minister Olta Xaka, at a media release during the evening, said the flow of aid, donations and gifts, assistance offers and volunteer work is so great that at this point it becomes necessary to coordinate and organise this assistance to be efficient.

But for these assistance to go to the right destination, go to the needy, so that there will be a prioritization of needs according to the situation in the field, in villages, towns, neighborhoods, or families, Jaka said it is necessary to channel them through the Emergency Staffs set up near the Civil Emergency and Prefectures.

So anyone who wants to contribute is invited to channel the donation through the State Reserve and Armed Forces Support Command, through the following numbers:

-04 22 223

-04 22 28 250

-0688046664

Olta Janka: As you have followed by our communications and media coverage, the situation caused by the earthquake continues to be serious. The search for salvation continues, work has begun by vetting groups, and citizens have to be patient and calm until the situation stabilizes.

But these days of tension and anxiety have also been days of extraordinary solidarity and generosity. As great as the power of nature, the solidarity of our Albanians and partners has been even greater. is a help that has far greater value than just the monetary or material values that are being donated, for above all it is a solidarity that gives hope and trust. Every citizen must know that he is not alone and will not be left alone.

Currently, in addition to helping Albanian citizens from all sides of Albania, Kosovo and the world, we have had extraordinary solidarity from partners, from different states through our bilateral relations, and we are working to activate the European Union and NATO civil protection mechanism, which would be a great help in managing the effects of the earthquake.

My call to all citizens, associations and businesses who want to help.

The flow of relief supplies, donations, donations for assistance, and volunteer work is so great that at this point it becomes necessary to coordinate and arrange for the most effective arrangement.

We understand and we thank all those actors who are born with desire, because of the desire to do something for their fellow citizens in these dramatic hours, have done a tremendous job of collecting aid and donations. But for these assistance to go to the right destination, go to the needy, so that there will be a prioritization of needs according to the situation in the field, in villages, cities, neighborhoods or families, it is imperative that they be channeled through the Emergency Staffs set up near Civil Emergency and Prefectures.

Despite good desire, confusion, and confusion, not only do they not help, nor do they have the desired impact, but they risk having the opposite effect.

Therefore, anyone who wants to contribute is invited to channel the donation through the State Reserve and Armed Forces Support Command through the following numbers:

04 22, 223

04 22 28 250

And 0688046664

These numbers are available to citizens 24 hours, 7 days of the week to coordinate aid, but also to address the special points that are being raised in all major cities.

Find the case here, thank the second-level banks, since today, have removed the commissions for any donation or voluntary transfers that go to the earthquake-refront fund.

And find a chance, too, to ask the phone companies to help us by sending their subscribers a text of these contact points and addresses where they can deliver their donation, whether it's monetary, or material, whether it's food, medical, clothing, or toys for children of whatever else.

The media are already doing an extraordinary job in this regard, and I want to thank you very much for everything they've done during these days and I invite them to continue this navigational campaign, which is really helping us a lot.

Right now, we need any help we can get. Today, we need logistics, shelter, food, and clothing.

But real need, the real challenge will be that of rebuilding. I know from the many information and communications I've had, that there are many businesses, especially those of construction or engineering and architecture studios, and many big and successful businesses that want to help this second phase of dealing with the effects of the earthquake.

I thank everyone and invite them back to number 04 22 223, 04 22 28 250 and 0688046664

Our request for them at this moment, when it is impossible to use the help they offer, is to deposit their commitments to our headquarters in the form of a promise contract detailed with the donations offered so that we too can catalog, list, and organize such vital assistance to any family affected by this severe tragedy.

It's very important that anyone really wants to help, listen and join this call that will allow us to use with efficiency the maximum impact and full transparency every penny that will be collected as a result of this extraordinary spirit of solidarity.

In closing, I want to inform all residents of the city of Durres Thumanes and other affected areas of a very good housing opportunity that has been achieved through a long-term contract linked by the Ministry of Tourism and Environment with the best hotels in the country, in Durres, Tirana, Vlora etc.

In view of the approaching winter, the cold weather, and especially the rainfall, given how difficult it will be to stay in the quadra, especially for families of children and old age, where we would invite citizens who are currently sheltered in cidra at the Durres stadium to move to shelter in one of these accommodation facilities, where they will have not only far better living conditions but also food.

Currently, there are over 100 citizens moving in as we speak, from the “Nico Dovana” stadium in Durres towards these hotel facilities, but as a whole, 1500 beds are available for all those residents who are moving.

In another act of solidarity, which I want to thank from the heart, many transport companies, but also drivers and owners of individual vehicles, vans and buses, have offered to help with the displacement of these citizens.

I repeat once again that the number of contact 24 hours to 7 days of the week is 04 22 22 223, 04 22 28 250 and 0688046664, to address the delivery of supplies where they are needed.
