CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi has clarified that completing this process depends on the dynamics of work at the QNR.
Although it does not give deadlines when the election results can be correctly known, it says the recount process could be completed next Monday.
“We cannot say exactly when the process of recounting the rest of the deployments ends, because it depends entirely on the dynamics of work in the QNR, but also on how much voter turnout has been in these countries”.
If we look at the recount dynamic over the 5-6 days, which is about 130 locations within two shifts, then we believe that by next Monday we can close this recount”.
The number of locations that must be recounted is around 410, though initially in PZAP's decision it was meant to be 1,472 seats.
But, the CEC after reviewing the list submitted to the decision has noted that 38 seats were marked twice, 18 others were recounted earlier, and another 7 did not match the polling list.
