Cakaj has said he has underlined the necessity of Kosovo being definitely part of this institution.
“In the discussion, we particularly highlighted the importance of education and cultural and historical heritage in the development of open and promotional societies. We stressed Albania's full devotion and undeniable achievements in this direction”, Cakaj has said.
“Of course, we underscored the inevitable necessity of membership of the Republic of Kosovo in U NESTO! We denounced Serbia's disinformative campaign towards Kosovo and made it clear again: Albania will continue its unsuccessful work on the membership of the Republic of Kosovo in UNESCO”, it has later added.
