Breathing, the world's first oxygen bars appear

As pollution in New Delhi reaches toxic levels, oxygen bottles are appearing in the city to allow locals to breathe more easily. New Delhi officials have recently been forced to declare a public health emergency due to the quality of dangerous air, as pollution levels have risen to about 20 times above the level allowed by the World Health Organization.

They are suspending construction projects and closing schools throughout the capital. While the air is full of smoke and dust, cash lovers can take a short break in a oxygen bar.

Every winter, the air quality falls into cities all over India as winds decrease and farmers burn plant remains to create space for future crops. One of the owners of oxygen bars, Kumar, says this time the increase in smoke in New Delhi has caused a flow of work in his firm.

We've had 15-20 people a day. Now we have 30-40 consumers every day, “he said, adding that oxygen therapy does not cure the disease, but renews it.

The grass produces oxygen through a standard tool that users place on their noses. The pipes are attracted by a concentration machine that draws clean oxygen from contaminated air.

While Kumar points out that “oxygen therapy” does not treat any diseases, he says the air can be renewed “as a toilet”.

Will Breathing Be a Privilege of the Rich

Despite the possibility of help, many in social networks consider Kumar, though sincere, as a dystrophic, suggesting a future where only the rich can afford to breathe non-toxic.

However, the new trend is unlikely to stop at any time soon, since India is home to about 15 of the world's most polluted cities, and the problems of the country's air quality have remained for some time. This drives more Indians into oxygen bars like Oxy Puree, or at least those who can afford it.
